ARTSENS is a bilingual periodical (Romanian and English), made by young professionals from the field of visual arts, journalism, philosophy and letters – a collective contribution that appeared as a result of the TMcult® – Art Criticism and Journalism educational program.

The first edition of the ARTSENS newspaper is made around the Art Encounters 2021 Contemporary Art Biennial and can be looked at as a detailed, indispensable and practical report, through which people would be up to date with ”hot news” during the 6 week period of the event.

ARTSENS appears every Monday, between the 27th of September and the 1st of November 2021, both online and offline. The newspaper will be distributed free of charge in the biennial’s exhibition spaces, in the city’s cultural spots, in schools and partner cafes (Aethernativ, AM PM Fabric, Ambasada, Birou. Cafea de specialitate, Coffeerize, Doppio, Le Dome, Neața Omelette Bistro, Scârț loc lejer, Stația de cafea, Zai Après Café).

The six issues will present cultural news, articles about what is happening at the biennial, interviews with the artists and meaningful discussions on contemporary art. An information exchange about art and culture.
