Asociația Culturală Contrasens vă invită să vizitați Expoziția Colectivă de Fotografie We are 17 în perioada 04 – 16 iunie, la Faber, Hala III, Timișoara.
Îndrumați de fotografele Melissa Ivana și Lorena Dumitrașcu, 35 de tineri de la Liceul de Arte Plastice Timișoara, Liceul Teoretic Vlad Țepeș Timișoara, Liceul Teoretic Nikolaus Lenau Timișoara și Colegiul Națională Bănățean au parcurs peste 13 sesiuni de atelier în care au descoperit noțiuni despre fotografia de portret, au învățat despre potențialul narativ al fotografiei și au dezvoltat modalități de exprimare artistică prin fotografie.
Inspirați de seria de fotografii Wij zijn (We are 17), realizată în 1955 de fotograful și regizorul olandez Johan van der Keuken, participanții au fotografiat persoane de aceeași vârstă și seniori din generația lui Van der Keuken (n.’30 – ’40) și au creat portretele colective ale celor două generații, ferite de stereotipuri, valorizănd fiecare persoană în parte.
Expoziția Colectivă de Fotografie We are 17 prezintă o selecție de portrete realizate în cadrul atelierelor. Pe lângă fotografii, expoziția cuprinde și povești personale ale participanților, care oferă o privire mai profundă asupra universului lor interior și a experienței lor de viață.
O selecție de fotografii din cadrul Expoziției Colective de Fotografie We are 17 va călători în anul 2025 de la Timișoara la Vilnius și Barcelona, în cadrul unei expoziții itinerante care va include și portrete realizate de elevi din Spania și Lituania.
Vernisajul expoziției va avea loc marți, 4 iunie, de la ora 18:00 la FABER, Hala III.
